Itinerary description
A quick and easy trip with a stop on the protected little coral beach at Scout hat island (aka Haycock island). This beach is made of big coral chunks so not suitable for landings with delicate kayaks. Leaving from the Palm Cove jetty you can take a straight line but during the low tide might get stuck on the reef, so try to go around the right side of it for amazing views of the coral and its fauna.
