On the way several weirs. Especially at a higher water level (150 cm) especially inflatable canoes and rafts are recommended.
On this day trip you will see - according to many - the most beautiful part of the Sázava. Start in Krhanice (shortened route) or in Týnec nad Sázavou.
The river tests your skill in driving the canoe. The countless rapids play with the boat. The environment is enchanting; you sail along high cliffs through a canyon. The slopes are woody and there are huts and houses all over the river that serve recreation.
In Pikovice the Sázava flows into the Vltava and ends the day trip on the Sázava. The Sázava continues its flow to Prague as the Vltava and then flow 800km further along with the Elbe to Hamburg in the North Sea.
