I did a lot of vacationing in the area as a kid and this brought back good memories. Thank you. :) https://fr.wikiloc.com/itineraires-kayac/randonnee-de-kayak-a-lile-beausoleil-861713/photo-263144

Hello, I’m new to Kayaking & I would like to try this trail with my husband. We are beginners. We live in Penetanguishene & I’m wondering if you are able to give me more information on your experience with this kayak trip you did. We will attempt to do this in the summer 2023. Is there anyway we could collaborate about this topic? You can reach me at my email gloriamacintyre0401@ or you can even call me on my cell @ 647-321-3408. I do not speak French very well so I would need to speak English. Would this be ok? Thank you for posting this on the app. Gloria 😀

Hello, sorry for the delay, and for my english wich is not very good. It's been a long time I made that kayak trip. I remember it was pretty long, but we took our time. We had a lot of places to stop, and we did often, if I remember. It seams to me that we had to be carefull crossing the channel, when we left Honey Harbour, but when I look at the map, it doesn't look like it is scary. I don't know what I could tell you more. We had at that time inflatable kayaks, so they were not very performing. We went also, in the same visit in that region at the Six Mile Lake, and we enjoyed the kayak in this lake full of nooks (?) and very calm. But maybe you know it since you're living in this area. We went, few years later at Killarney Park, and it was very pleasant to make kayak there as well. So have a good time with your kayak, Georgian Bay is a very nice place to enjoy it.

Oh Thank You so much for telling me this. Your English is fine, no worries.

I’m learning all about this & since this route is close to by my house I thought we could try there this summer. I’m really looking forward to it. My husband & I purchased a double kayak & it has pedals as well to help us go faster. It’s a “Das King” Kayak .

So when you say you would stop here & there, would you actually get out of your kayak & pull it up on rocks or a beach? We’re you able to swim anywhere? Are you on any social media like IG or Instagram.., would I be able to connect with you so I can share my pics with you when we finally do the trip in Summer?

Hello, yes when we stopped, we put the kayak mostly on the rocks, if my memory is good. And we could swim, and we did. No, I'm not on IG, I don't ever know what it is, and Instagram, not really. So have fun this summer!
