Itinerary description
A kayak trip in Queen Elizabeth Wetlands Park. There is parking at the Head Lake access point. Head north east across the lake towards the low point on the horizon. The river mouth is pretty easy to find and is marked as a waypoint. I followed the river past some cottages, a few relatively short portages and wound through a couple of lakes until I found a good campsite.
Lots of wildlife, very few people but the bugs were relentless. Some open lake paddling but mostly rivers and small lakes. A beautiful area and a nice trip for a weekend. The return trip is listed here Crooked Lake to Head Lake.

Dam
Ran into some beavers and beaver dams. I think that is what this waypoint is referring to (there was some problems with uploading this file).
