The surroundings of Villa Paranacito is a zone of the Delta very appropriate for the kayak. Many streams of calm waters little current, good places to camp and good access.
Particularly in the fall, the curtains of cypresses and mounts of Fresnos and Persimmons stand out, giving the islands a special color.
The Uruguay River is very close and offers wide views with its width exceeding 10 km.
The route is completely replicated manually, because the GPS battery failed.
Other times we had toured the area and the idea was this time to venture into the solitary streams that flow into Uruguay upstream of the martinez. We left the Los Pinos nursery excellent place to set sail for the comforts that it has and for being something far from the center of the Villa. We toured the Sagastume and the Martinez and accessed the Mosquitos Creek through a canal; then we climbed without problems through the streams and canals that run parallel to the Uruguay River where we reached the time and hit the turn. The return was by Uruguay planchadisimo, a luxury that allowed us to snack afloat, observe the abundant birds and arrive at sunset at Martinez where we entered to camp.
The second day was somewhat harder, 36 km, cloudy with a threat of rain and a little wind, we entered through La Tinta's False Mouth and we went back to Uruguay to enter the Long Arm at once. Here the water turns cloudy brown due to the influence of Paraná and the current is strongly felt until after school 4 we enter the Paranacito. From there the road runs quiet until you reach the center of Villa Paranacito. The entire right bank has access by land and there are some campsites where to stock up. From the crossing just stop at prefecture we are back in Los pinos to load everything and leave
