Itinerary description

Iceland crossing in 13 days, autonomy (no external support or supply) walking and packrafting from the South (Vik) coast to the north coast (Akureyri), 375km.
The route had to change daily due to the conditions produced by the coldest winter in decade, finding a lot of snow and many flooded areas in the island, though generally good weather favored us.
We walked 11 days (except some large wading in which we sail to cross). The 8th day we sailed a river drain from Vatnajokull glacier to lake Hagoengulon, which remained open flow of it (the rest was frozen). Also Eyfajyardara river from its source but fast conditions and rocks and the amount of water we did not allow it until late in the valley of Akureyri. In June, fast and quiet almost entirely, except for a few quick constriction of 2 km at the beginning of the farms (level II-III rapids severe).
