Itinerary description
Julio 2018. Travesía en las Brooks Range, Alaska. 10 dias; 5 caminando y 5 de packraft. Ruta original de Moe Witschard, que seguimos hasta el límite norte de las Brooks, y que por climatología adversa abandonamos sin llegar a la llanura ártica. Ruta comprometida y clima frío y poco predecible. Pasos de montaña complicados según temporada. Mucha agua en los ríos en determinados momentos. A veces arroyos con mucho cauce según el frío, pudiendo desaparecer del todo si en las cumbres helaba. Pasamos el campamento 8 y 9 en el mismo lugar esperando la avioneta de vuelta.

Committed route and cold climate and little predictable. Complicated mountain passes according to season. Lots of water in the rivers at certain times. Sometimes streams with much channel according to the cold, being able to disappear completely if in the summits it froze. We spent camp 8 and 9 in the same place waiting for the plane back.
