Itinerary description
We paddled into Hideaway Inlet - I will now call it - to check out the result of the dredging operation. We started out about 6:15 am at high tide and headed up Marco River. The dredging change the face of the area to the extent that it was hard to recognize. The opening changed the area from lagoon like to nearly an open Bay. The return was against the current and choppy near Snook Inn.
