Itinerary description
this is the trip into campsite #22 where we stayed for two nights. A busy weekend immediatly following July 4th. Several of the campsites were taken but still plenty left. Beutiful weather on the 6th and the 8th. these sites are wonderful with privacy and plenty of firewood available.
The lake bottom is pretty mucky in most spots and lots of snags and deadheads (tree trunks near the surface) which makes fishing a bit tricky. Two large floating bogs on the lake are full of insects, as are the side streams. Still a lovely place to paddle though.
