Itinerary description
Small lake with pretty scenery, no wakes and close to town. If too small, go around twice! The upper end of the lake is blocked by a large tree that my kayak would not fit under; would have to go over. Some stumps and fallen trees in the lake and hiking trails beside it. Good launching ramp with no facilities. Parking for about 6 cars just past the ramp, can fill up; don't know if there is more down the road. You can only park on NID (public) property on the lake side of the road. Don't be scared by the dangerous road warning signs. The last part to the ramp is just a typical one lane bumpy curvy dirt road. Don't need 4WD or high clearance vehicle. Alternate route is by owner permission only.
