That place where you crossed the beach just south of the Big Carlos Pass bridge used to have a sign warning that it's an environmentally sensitive area and not to trespass. We have pictures of the sign posted somewhere. That's why the Calusa Blueway moved Marker 13 from the beach where it was to north of the bridge a couple of years ago, even though my GPS still shows it as part of the trail. Is that sign gone now? (We used to paddle under that footbridge at high tide and port across the sand, but stopped after the sign was posted.)
