Itinerary description
At 10 am the parking lot was full and an empty parking spot was valuable. I heard afterwards that sac-a-lait (White Perch) might have been biting / spawning. By 10:30 am the fog still hung thickint 55 degree air. As the day progressed it became more and more pleasant and moved up to a wonderful 69 with nominal 5 mph winds.
Was able to closely approach 2 4-5 foot alligators. Also followed a back trail that the tour boats use after one cleared it out for us.
Proceeded full circle all around the lake for another great Lake Martin paddle.
