Itinerary description
Lake Eligo is located between the towns of Greensboro and Craftsbury, Vermont. It is about two miles long and a half-mile wide with a small public swimming beach and a public access boat ramp. The lake is flanked by steep, rocky cliffs on the east side with gentle slopes and VT Route 14 on the west side. Total area of the lake is 182 acres with water depths ranging from shallow, swampy areas on the north end to depths of more the 100 feet in other spots.
