Itinerary description
Lake Astotin ...... Elk Island National Park
Birthday adventure........Lovely Lake with lots of quiet little bays to paddle around. Many water birds, ducks, geese, herons and pelicans, to name a few. Centre of lake coming back was hard going into the wind and a little choppy. Will definitely go back and do the top half.
Elk Island is a National Park so there is an entry fee for day use is if you do not have an annual pass.
