Itinerary description
Nice $2 paid concrete or grass launch which includes a portalet toilet. Optimal temperatures and overcast skies keep temps down and brightness to a minimum. Paddled eastward down the boulevard and then turned left toward the north and paddled through the trees. We searched out and found an old dilapidated houseboat. Also stayed out of the path of tourists air boats. Continued northward towards I-10 bridge across the basin. Decided to take a rest between the bridges and all the loud noise coming from road traffic. Reversed course and returned back to where we once came from.
