Itinerary description
Amazing! But for me it was very tiring, the route being too long for my training level, and because of the heat (38° C). By the time I was done, I was totally exhausted and dehydrated.
Initially I wanted to start the navigation tour from the parking lot of the Schinias Park, but I didn't have access there, a traffic officer was turning back all the cars going there, so, as a last minute choice, without knowing the places, I arrived at paralia Karavi.
The sea was relatively calm, there were some waves at the end of the peninsula, but they didn't cause me any problems!
I had 2 liters of water, 4 apricots and 2 cereal bars.
The kayak (Aqua Marina Memba 390) is very stable and safe, but being inflatable it is very slow to navigate.
A big issue (probably general to almost all inflatable kayaks) is how to clean, dry and pack it.
The length of the route was 15.18 km.
Recorded with Garmin Phenix 3HR / edited with GpxStudio for waypoints.
