Itinerary description
Here is a Kayak-Tour in the north eastern part of Germany - the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte.
This area has plenty of lakes which are all connected with small channels or rivers. Therefore you have plenty of possibilities to plan kajak tours.
Also huge parts of this area are nature reserves. Therefore you dont have any motor boats or a lot of tourist around.
Lots of possibilities for camping.
I did this tour around September where days start to get a little chilly. I had most of the lakes for my self - no other people around. Very relaxing. Took me three days of easy paddling. However, if done with kids and/or unexperienced people, I suggest to divide the tour into four days: No water streams and therefore non-stop active paddling.
