Itinerary description
Story:
This section of the Ottawa river is relatively wild. There is a nice beach on the north-est side of the Carillon island with very nice pinus laricio (see pics). The last time I saw these kind of trees was in Corcica more that 10 years ago.
Tips:
Watch wind guru before going, strong waves can occur even with moderate winds. (http://www.windguru.cz)
It is quite difficult to find an access point to the river with a parking in this section. I wasted almost an hour to find one. The locals recommend that you park just aside the bridge (see waypoint).
Difficult because of the strong wind and waves.

Salut Stephane!
From where you started, go down river 200 m, turn left and pass under the bridge. You are now in baie Carillon. It is quite nice with the ducks and the fish jumping out of the water all over the bay.
