Itinerary description
The lake finally calmed down late at night; we were back at it in the early morning at first daylight. Getting close to Bahia Grande, the sun welcomed us rising behind the mountains. After a lunch break we headed for Hito 23, indicating the border between Argentina and Chile.
We knew we wouldn’t be able to accomplish kayaking the whole longitude of Fagnano, due to delays. However, we celebrated our safe arrival to the border, both very excited.
Then we started heading back, with favourable winds in our back, and good waves improving our progress. After a very long day and 50 kilometers of kayaking we found a small pebble beach just past Bahia Torito to set up camp for our last night.
