Itinerary description
After last week's trip to Halfway Creek, we decided to push even farther into the area north of the loop trail. If you look at the aerial, you see several interconnected lakes. We probably could have gone farther in, but when you're out there, what looks passable sometimes isn't.
Halfway Creek is an excellent area to paddle and explore; the only disadvantage is the one-mile trip down the canal before you enter the area.
