Itinerary description
This paddle is best done at mid-to-high tide for easiest passage. For best birding early morning low tide provides the most birds but getting all the way to Steven's Landing might prove impossible due to low water.
To avoid powerboat traffic on San Marco River avoid peak boating times (between 10:00am -4:00pm) , especially in-season and on weekends.
