Itinerary description
This paddle had everything! Beginning with open water paddling through "Hells Gate" with lots of challenging chop today and a meandering route with lots of evidence of hurricane damage. Then into Mud Bay, which is super shallow (hence its name), but our trusty guides had planned for us to be there at high tide. Finally we got into the mangrove canopy in Black Water River through the park. Gorgeous SWFL paddle!
