Itinerary description
The launch is near the east end of the SR 92 Bridge at Goodland. There's a clear area on the south side for parking and a ramp down to the water's edge that's driveable as long as you stop before going into the water (just joking...or maybe not). The launch is fairly flat and easy. There's no fee, and the area is well used.
We went north under the bridge and made the loop in a counterclockwise direction. We left on an incoming tide one hour after low tide so that we'd hit the creek well into the incoming tide. The creek was passable, with a couple of shallow areas at the south end of the creek: great scenery and wildlife. The only down side is powerboats in the Big Marco River, and they don't slow down, but you get plenty of warning.
