Itinerary description
Camping trip to Flagstaff Lake in Maine. The 4000' mountains to the south rise about 3000' above the lake surface, which provides a dramatic backdrop to a day of paddling. Saturday was a looonng day of paddling, 13.3 miles one way to the Flagstaff Hut, where we had some lunch and a beer. Then the long paddle back into a 15 mph breeze.
