Itinerary description
We shuttled to the launch point. Look for blue blazes on the trees as you make your way downstream back to the campground. Expect to see lots of alligators. The scenery and birds were amazing. Water levels vary widely. Be sure to check current conditions before going. The water level and weather were perfect on the day we went. Much of our paddle was easy and we just leisurely floated along. The current was swifter in a few sections and navigating around and through the cypress trees required more skill thus the "Moderate" rating.
