Easy to follow

Departed from the Lake Placid ramp at low tide (1/7/2023) and returned to the same place. It is not that easy to find your way in the lakes, you'll need a map or a GPS. Saw a crocodile (not an alligator we have seen hundreds of those and can tell them apart) for the first time in many kayak trips in the area. The route was passable at relatively low tide. We saw the croc on a different spot on the way back (near the original site), it submerged silently as we passed by (keeping a safe distance). A bit scary!
