Itinerary description
Track created on 15 SEPT 2018
This reservoir was created and opened in the spring of 2018. Existing trees around the original creek were left in place when the lake was filled, creating habitat for wildlife. Thus, this lake offers a unique paddle-in-the-woods and requires some trial-and-error to find a route to the far SW end of the lake. Though the water was a little murky for our liking, it was a fun paddle. I should mention there is open water if you prefer to stay away from the trees.
PS If you hate spiders, stay away from the trees in September!
