The river segment that is covered today has many twists, so you lose the sense of direction every now and then. No panic, the river just brings you to the final destination, the place Putim. This city, located at the junction of the Otava with the Blanice river, is best known for its characteristic façades in the style of farmer baroque. In Putim you step out of the canoe. If you still have time, the city of Písek is definitely recommended. Over the Otava is the oldest stone bridge of the Czech Republic from the 13th century.
