Itinerary description
Launch from the kayak launch in the park. There’s a fee to enter but not much. Sandy launch . Not much of interest to see. There is a short mangrove tunnel as you circumnavigate the park. Definitely go out to the sandbar and swim. But bring an anchor. There is also a hiking trail in the park for those interested. Picnic tables and bathrooms at launch site. We went when the sargassum seaweed was in full force so not a good beach area to swim.
