Itinerary description
Cocohatchee River Park is a well-used County-run boat ramp at the west end of Wiggins Pass Road that charges a $4 fee to launch a paddlecraft.
We're trying to create a "Paradise Coast Blueway" that connects the Wilderness Waterway (Monroe County) to the Calusa Blueway (Lee County), and this is the leg from Collier County to Marker 1 of the Calusa Blueway.
Powerboats use this waterway, and some do slow down when they pass you, and some do not. We usually encounter dolphins and manatees here too.
