Itinerary description
Clam Pass Park is a Collier County park at the west end of Pine Ridge Road, which becomes Seagate on the west side of US-41; there's a large parking area (pass or fee required) which fills up well before noon on nice days, and a paddlecraft launch at the west end and a boardwalk with tram out to the beach.
The paddle consists of three half-mile long bays connected by two winding channels and a series of trail markers from 1 to 32. The round trip is about 7 miles. Tidal currents can get strong in the channels.
Usually lots of wildlife. On calm days you can go into the Gulf and land at one of the beaches.
