Itinerary description
North Landing Boat Launch to North Landing Campground to northern finger of lake under hiking trail bridge to backpack campsite #5 and home.
*UPDATE* Unless the salvinia is killed off this paddle is all but unpassable as waterway is too choked up to navigate.

This was moderately difficult due to the amount and thickness of duckweed covering the water, like paddling through molasses.
When I was a young girl my family and I fished at Long Island inside Chicot State park. We did not go by boat but down a trail inside the park. Such beautiful memories. I would love to return there again one day, either by kayak or hiking. Do you have a map?
Check with the park, they have both hiking trail maps and canoe trail maps.
I retired from state parks out of Chicot SP. Was a district manager there for 20 years. Maps are in my head ;)
