Itinerary description

She's a big river down this way. It was cold and windy but not too much of either. The river was high, a bit over 11 foot at the Kinder gauge but that worked in our favor and gave us pretty good current, at least initially. As you go downstream you pretty much loose it and we paddled steadily all day just to average 3.5 mph. Beautiful Cypress Forest borders the river pretty much the whole way. Beware of boaters. We did not encounter that many, but they were universally rude.

Take out under the I-10 Bridge. Watched a fella catch a really big Red Fish right from the parking lot while we were loading.

Congrats on a successful mission gentleman with grub and beer mid stream.
