Itinerary description
Springhill road put in, tight road shoulder service, stepped rocky descent to gravel apron on NW quadrant of the bridge.
Switchback tannin water, cool water temperature, interesting white cedar driftwood. Plentiful sand pea and medium gravel inside banks. Outside banks avg 3 feet vertical banks with overlaying tree branches.
Good medium current. Picturesque steel bridge lunch spot. A couple swift water areas along with a few shallow areas but no portage.
Pullout at Hwy 191 bridge SW quadrant was under bridge and a sand ramp. Steep but doable drive down under bridge. Tight parking a top. 9.6 mile paddle.
