Itinerary description
This paddle took me along Accokeek Creek, which borders the Crow's Nest Natural Preserve. The variety of wildlife was amazing: mature and immature bald eagles, ospreys, many great blue herons, alligator gar, very large turtles, red winged blackbirds and many others. This is a great paddle for any birdwatcher. I also had a chance to try out my new Contour Roam camera. After using the horrible Epic ActionCam, the Roam is a real pleasure.
