Itinerary description
Where do you want to go tomorrow? I want to paddle on the water. Other than that, I don’t have a preference. Depart CR 92 Launch ~0630 hours. Incoming tide. Sounds great! Well, it was great. Next time, I'm going to watch the winds more carefully. We stopped paddling to take movies of four dolphins and got pushed back 100 yards--five photos of sunrise behind an anchored sailboat. A note for paddlers: Consider wind direction and the length of open water it travels over, known as fetch. After two miles, we adjusted our route accordingly and got parallel to the mangroves. 0.7 mph out and 3.5 mph back.
