Itinerary description
Look what Stan's drone captured at Clam Bay this morning! Dozens of large egrets built elaborate nests inside the Rookery while other herons, cormorants, and egrets filled the perimeter nests. Nesting season is in full swing! While paddling the trail, we saw plenty of mullet jumping and even a tarpon! The birds at Clam Pass were quiet observers. We did encounter some submerged deadfall entering the upper bay, but overall, it was a fantastic paddle!
