Itinerary description
Very calm summer morning, four days to summer solstice. I started at 5:00 to have natural to myself. Many other boats were anchored in all the sheltered spots. All were still asleep. Lots of Eiderducklings were out with their mothers. I tried to keep a distance. Over the last two weeks the water has cleared, the turquoise color of the algae bloom has gone. One can observe the small fish deep below. Later, fog was sucked in from the sea, however it dissolved before it could shield the sun. All in all, visibility wasn’t great. The mountains seemed to have disappeared.

Davidsholmen
Davidsholmen (left) and Vassøy on the right. The reflections from the camera/phone bag are annoying.

Towards Klovningen
A favorite motive. With a bit of fantasy one can see the fog seeping in from the sea over Åmøy in the distance.
