Itinerary description

Very quiet. Almost no wind. No sound of breaking waves. The little breeze came from the north. So: first with a northern course through Langøysundet to Sandøy and then crossing over to Storholmen. It consists of two islands, Lille Storholmen and Storholmen. I rounded both to enjoy going through the sound between the islands twice. Next I passed Kuppholmen and some rocks before crossing over to Klovningen. Out there it was very quiet, only some seagulls in the distance. Continuing to the islands with trees, like Odda and Egrøy, the landbirds made their music. Today I heard three cuckoos calling on three different islands. I briefly stopped at my favorite spot north of Davidsholmen. By the time the clouds were breaking up - better than predicted! On my way home I passed through the shallow sound east of Ormøy and returned south of Steinsøy.
