Itinerary description

The Orkhon Valley Horse Ride starts in Kharkhorin and ends in Boorog a bit above the Orkhon Falls, just before the Eight Lakes site in Naiman Nuur Park. We did it in 4 easy days with around 35 km each day. The first day we also visited Erdene Zuu.
It is a beautiful valley that represents the Mongol landscapes of this region.
It was August and the rains can be quite brutal and violent. You benefit from having a 100% waterproof plastic jacket.
The saddles and the riding hours will be right of your buttocks and it is absolutely necessary to have a suitable cushion to put on the saddle or in your trousers.
We had an All Terrain that accompanied us which gives great riding freedom.
