Itinerary description
If taken in reverse, this is the safest and easiest route to ride from Monterosi, where there is a riding stables, to the Calandrina (where it can be arranged to host your horse for short periods of time, even one night). Although you ride on a number of macadamised roads, there is very little traffic and visibility is good. Once in the Calandrina area there are dozens of trails that can be taken, either in a circular manner or in one direction (generally to the North). The area is beautiful, being a park with wide open spaces as well as with a number off small to mid-sized forests.
