Itinerary description
Top Tour. Fairytale-like path, forest, moss-covered and silent, chapel in the forest . There is also a 13 m high wooden tower offering a wide view over the valley. And there is a field where in the 15th century trials and executions took place. So, lots to see.
Parking in Zueschen (Winterberg), Nuhnetalstrasse 44.
Follow the Winterberger Hochtour (WHT) well indicated, good paths.
Food and drinks in Zueschen and Mollseifen (in tourist season)
This is Route 12 in the Rother wanderfuehrer Sauerland
We also did route 5 Ettelsberg-Diemelquelle - Usseln. Very enjoyable and recommendable but we forgot to record it. Starts at Willingen, North of Winterberg. From the parking lot, a cable car takes you up the mountain. Certainly a top tour as well.
