Next to the beginning of the itinerary is the jetty where the boats that visit the set of maritime caves known as Blue Grotto depart. The ride lasts about 20 minutes and it cost me € 8. It's not a big deal, really, since there is hardly any depth in the caves. I would not recommend it.
We go up and turn off the road towards an archaeological site. There is a bus stop there where we can start the route if we don't want to start in Zurrieq.
You can pay to visit the ruins or go around them, as was my case, since my interest in the ruins in general is zero.
Before arriving at the second archaeological site, we turn off to get closer to the coast. Here you have to walk with some caution, but the transit is very easy for those of us who are used to walking in the mountains.
Now down we go browsing the coastline until we come to a somewhat touristy place. From it we continue along a road until we turn off to glimpse the impressive cliffs of Dingli.
We ascend away from the cliffs along narrow paths that join micro-estates to a wider path that soon connects with another through which we wander through a false plain.
We look out over the cliffs again and come to a road. By asphalt we finished the journey to the Dingli bus stop.
