Itinerary description
Puedes realizar este trekking desde Zumbahua hasta Barro Lodge en Angamarca, pasando por paisajes hermosos y sorprendentes, es una ruta que complementa el Quilotoa Loop, no dejes de visitarla. Te toma aproximadamente 7 horas es importante llevar hidratación, snacks, bloqueador solar, ropa abrigada, zapatos de senderismo y si deseas puedes acampar en el camino.

I did the route yesterday and took me 10 hours. The altitude and walking through the grass makes it really strenuous. I found it beautiful but quite challenging for a day hike. I'd advice anyone doing it to take a good GPS since there is no signalling along the route. Be also aware that dogs are particularly annoying near Zumbagua and Angamarca. Be ready to confront them with your hiking poles or by pretending to throw stones to them. Barro Lodge was great.
