Itinerary description
A pleasant hike across the massif of Biskupská kupa / Biskupia Kopa and the adjacent Cicha Dolina (literally "Silent Valley"). There's a watchtower at the top of Biskupská kupa and well maintained polish hiking association mountain chalet just beneath it, on the slope overlooking the valley.
The entire area has been heavily impacted by comprehensive deforestation campaign due to the bark beetle infestation. As of summer 2018 the undergrowth is on the mend but it will take decades to fully recover.
