Itinerary description
the famous 3-peak hiking route is perfect except the first part, and i have been working on that to seek alternatives.
as you may know that there are many huge stones in jiufeng hills, which have made the journey less comfortable and more risky.
today, i've found a great solution, i.e. zhaikou slope, which is next to dajue temple and jiufeng. it's not only comfortable, but also a bit challenging with gorgeous view as well.
so, if the first part is replaced by zhaikou, the distance remains similar and the elevation gain will be a bit more, around 2,000 meters in total.
the 3-peak journey embodies the whole beauty of golden beijing autumn. it's the treasure of all hikers.

bei'anhe subway station - zhaikou slope 1 - luobadi - jiangou village - miaofeng hills - dongdatuo - balcony hilltop - cool water pump - 5-7 reservoir- 7th king tomb village - bei'anhe subway station
