Itinerary description

We started at the Ottoman bridge recently renovated. We went towards the mine site and turned left towards the village of Barkanesh. From the village, there is a small path toward the top of the mine. From there, it is possible to go down to the river. The path is covered by vegetation, so it can be challenging. At the river, the path is in good condition. We went until another Ottoman bridge and turned back. Due to a landslide close to the mine, it is possible to cross the river. From there, we continued on the other side of the river until our starting point. The path on that side of the river is challenging.

The canyon is great and beautiful. Highly recommended. But it is difficult to access.
