Itinerary description
A relatively simple trek, starting by the goral restaurant in the main part of zdiar (there's a sign for the red path beginning on the side of the restaurant). You take a steep incline quickly and you're into the fields on quite a muddy track. You'll be on this for quite a while before you'll come to a fork facing you, take the one on the left. If you take the one on the right you'll just end up eventually coming out on the a blue route that can take you to mala polane and then the ski resort at Bachledova dolina where the tree top walk is. As you'll see we ended up taking the one on the right and then went back on ourselves to reach magurka where there are numerous options for where you could go next in the tatras.
We went back on ourselves going east towards slodicovsky vrch, we then took the green route downwards which takes you down sharply. There's a bench which I presume to be vtsik which gives you a lovely view of zdiar and the surrounding mountains. Then it's just further down hill before you reach some houses and you're back down at the main road. At the main road you're right next to the supermarket so stock up on some beers and snacks!
I'd recommend if you want a small hike where you can explore a reasonable amount of woodland and you've got the option to always go a different way at magurka if you so wish to.
