We redesigned because of unexpected foot injuries and bad weather, so we did the first, upper section of Premužić to Rossi's hut. We've been leaked along the Velebit all the way, sometimes the path is narrow enough, and the trails are quite rare. There is not a lot of water available, and although Almond is very expensive for Karst water, we have been equipped with supplies. We tried to climb the Gromovaca too, but the pre-peak was already a bar of iron and an almost vertical wall, so it would have been impossible with a dog. Instead we tried the Veliki Kosa from the botanical garden: the terrain is hard enough, so we have a medium size body and we are only going to take it with a well-trained and well-behaved dog because it has to be scattered several times. A smoother road from the shelter leads to the summit. Yeah, a shelter: do not expect Western supplies, but there is always someone who can serve us with beer or herbal tea. Dogs in the house unfortunately do not like it.
