Itinerary description
From campsite Zambujeira do Mar to Praia dos Alteirinhos a secluded beach with a waterfall, easy accessible by a stairway.
After we leave the campsite we walk over a kind of parking lot towards a water purification site, from here through a Barranco we end up Praia da Zambujeira do Mar. Here we go up the cliffs, passing some houses and small buildings.
Following the cliffs we reach Praia dos Alteirinhos, halfway the stairs up again we pass the waterfall ‘Cascata da praia dos alteirinhos’. We pass it twice as we take a circular route through dunes and along the cliffs. Via the boulevard and the church of Zambujeira do Mar we walk back to or starting point.
